A. Student Agreement for Digital Citizenship and Day of Action

Review the information in topics 1-9 and the recommended rules for the student agreements. Keep in mind that the way the rules are stated and focus of the two student agreeements may be different due to the difference in ages in Primary children (grades K-5) and Secondary School children (gardes 6-12).

This team will be responsible for developing and implementing:
1. a digital citizenship agreement for Primary School children to be approved by the Primary School Administration
2. a digital citizenship agreement for Secondary School students to be approved by the Secondary School Administration
3. organizing a Day of Action whereby students in Middle School and Secondary School sign the Digital Citizenship agreements

In preparing your student agreements, you will need to research similar agreements to compare with the recommendations made by the nine teams in Phase 1 of the DigiteenCompass wiki. Some starting points:

As soon as drafts of the student agreements are written, they will be distributed to teams B, C and D for discussion and additions/changes. This task must be completed first because the other teams will be relying on the information for their Action(s).

You will also need to research other Days of Action focusing on Digital Citizenship that have been conducted in other schools. The advertising and organization of such an event determines its success.
